Biography

John Dillon is a portfolio manager for the Fixed Income Managed Solutions Team. John joined Morgan Stanley in 1987, where he began his career in the investment industry. His prior roles include over 10 years as Morgan Stanley’s Chief Municipal Bond Strategist, as well as various positions encompassing municipal strategy, research, trading, sales, underwriting and corporate credit analysis for the Capital Markets trading desk, as well as manager of the Fixed Income Portfolio Strategy Group. John earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.

Strategy Name	Description
Intermediate Municipal Strategy	With a bottom-up process focusing on security selection, the team considers credit quality, state of issuance, coupon structure, source of revenue, issuer concentration, and call protection to seek a predictable source of federally tax-exempt income.
Laddered Municipal Intermediate Strategy	This laddered strategy allocates capital in similar weights across maturities in the front half of the yield curve in an effort to meets its goal of delivering a predictable source of federally tax-exempt income.
Long Duration Municipal Strategy	Invests in high-quality, investment grade, tax-exempt bonds, using a top-down process that aims to deliver federally tax-exempt income by primarily targeting the back half of the municipal bond yield curve.
