Overview

Atlanta Capital is comprised of two distinct investment teams of experienced, long-tenured investors. The Core/Growth Team constructs active portfolios of primarily U.S. companies across the core and growth equity spectrum. Our teams are guided by a fundamental core approach that seeks to invest in companies in strong financial condition with equities priced below our fair value estimate.

Atlanta Capital Equity Core

The Core Equity team seeks to invest in companies with a demonstrated history of consistent growth and earnings stability.  The team’s portfolios are managed with a fundamental, bottom–up investment process, looking for businesses with innovative models, quality management, strong free cash flow, and high returns on invested capital.  Historically, this process has produced diversified portfolios that exhibit solid up-market capture, minimized participation in declining markets, reduced volatility, and high active share.

Atlanta Capital Equity Growth

The Growth Equity team focuses on investing in companies that have established records of steady growth and stable earnings, with equities trading at attractive valuations. The team seeks to own large cap companies with strong potential for long-term, sustainable earnings growth.  Comprehensive assessment of upside potential to downside risk drives buy-and-sell decisions.
