Biography
Barbara is Head of Sustainability at Calvert Research & Management. In her role, Barbara leads the development and implementation of sustainability frameworks and processes to align Calvert’s product strategy with global regulatory and client requirements across active equity and fixed income investment strategies. She is also responsible for overseeing Calvert’s participation in external initiatives and commitments. Prior to her current role, Barbara was the EMEA Head of Fixed Income ESG Strategy & Research for Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Calvert, having previously worked on the Sustainable Finance team of Morgan Stanley’s Debt Capital Markets division. She began her career in the financial industry in 2010, and before joining Morgan Stanley in 2018, she worked with the World Bank’s Financial and Private Sector Development unit. Barbara earned an M.B.A. with Distinction from HEC Paris and a M.Sc. in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University.
