Abdulaziz Alajaji Appointed CEO of Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia

Riyadh —

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today announced the appointment of Abdulaziz Alajaji as CEO of Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia (MSSA), effective immediately.

Mr. Alajaji, a Saudi national, joins MSSA from J.P. Morgan where he most recently served as Head of Corporate Banking. He has over 15 years of banking experience in the Kingdom, covering a range of market segments.

Sammy Kayello, Chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley Middle East and North Africa, said: “Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia’s first decade has seen many changes within the Kingdom and we believe opportunities will be plentiful as Saudi Arabia enters a new era. In Abdulaziz Alajaji, we have chosen an outstanding candidate to be our next CEO, and I have no doubt that he will bring his strong local knowledge and industry expertise to his new role, building our client franchise in these exciting times.”
