LONDON, August 05, 2010 – Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) announced today that Eitan Raff has joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Advisor in Israel, with immediate effect.
With a career spanning over 30 years at the highest levels of Israeli business and Government, Raff is a highly respected executive who last month stepped down as Chairman of Bank Leumi Le-Israel, the country’s biggest bank, after 15 years in that role.
He is also a Director at New York Stock Exchange-listed Verifone Holdings, Inc. and is Chairman of the Management Committee of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Raff has also served as the Comptroller General of the State of Israel.
In his new role, Raff will serve as a Senior Advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Tel Aviv office and will report to Ronnie Golan, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets coverage for Israel, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Eitan Raff
Since 1995, Eitan, 68, has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bank Leumi le-Israel – Israel’s largest lender - and its UK and US subsidiaries. More recently, he has been the Chairman Leumi Partners Investment House, the lender’s investment banking operations, as well as a member of the Board of Directors at Verifone Holdings, Inc.
He was educated at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he earned a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science.
Ronnie Golan
Ronnie Golan, is Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets coverage for Israel, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997.
Ronnie received his Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and prior to that was an F15 pilot in the Israeli air force where he attained the rank of Captain.
