Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group (GWMG) today announced that industry veteran Rick Capozzi will join the group later this year as a Managing Director and National Sales Manager.
Mr. Capozzi, a 24-year industry veteran, will report to Ray Harris, Vice Chairman and Head of National Sales. He becomes a senior member of the leadership team responsible for the Firm’s national network of 8,000 financial advisors in nearly 500 offices across the U.S.

Mr. Capozzi joins Morgan Stanley from Merrill Lynch, where he served since 2004 as Managing Director and Head of Business Development.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked as a Senior Vice President at Wachovia Securities, where he was Regional President for the Northeast Region.
He joined Wachovia from UBS, then Paine Webber, where he worked for 18 years, first as a financial advisor, then in a succession of managerial positions, including Senior Vice President and Complex Manager.
Mr. Capozzi will join Morgan Stanley in late July.
