Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today announced Aspiring Minds, a company that specialises in talent assessment for corporates, as the winner of the Firm’s inaugural CTO Innovation Summit India, held yesterday at its Bengaluru Global Inhouse Centre (GIC).
Focused on collaboration and innovation, the invitation-only event provided some of India’s emerging technology and fintech companies the opportunity for direct dialogue and discussions with top technology and business executives from Morgan Stanley. The goal was to jointly explore innovative technology solutions that have the potential to deliver new client and business opportunities. The event is organized by the Firm’s Technology Business Development team, which is tasked with scouting new technology partners and vendors to deliver on Morgan Stanley’s technology strategy.
“The idea behind the CTO Innovation Summit India is to engage with new partners to explore innovative ways to solve complex challenges, while helping start-ups break into the enterprise world and develop solutions at scale,” noted Bobby Gilja, Managing Director and Chief Information Officer, Corporate & Funding Technology, Morgan Stanley, in his introductory remarks at the event. “For the last 18 years Morgan Stanley has been successful in bringing together promising start-ups with our top technologists and business leaders to drive innovation. We want to leverage the synergies between our business and the start-up ecosystems wherever they may be.”

The CTO Innovation Summit India saw 16 of the country’s leading enterprise technology and fintech companies showcase solutions that cover the breadth of Morgan Stanley’s innovation priority areas including cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data and analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation. The day saw participants in discussion with senior technology leaders from Morgan Stanley which allowed them to gain feedback and guidance on how their product portfolio and road map may resonate with financial services organisations.
