Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today named the winners of its Asia Outside Counsel Diversity Awards for 2018 with the award for the leading Internationally-headquartered firm going to Linklaters and the award for the leading Asian-headquartered firm being made to Kim & Chang.
Designed to recognize Morgan Stanley’s regional legal service providers for their excellence in diversity and inclusion, the Awards were conducted through an in-depth survey and interview process managed by the Firm’s Asia Pacific Legal & Compliance Division.
Morgan Stanley commended Linklaters’ for a meticulously structured and globally consistent yet jurisdictionally-tailored approach, led by a passionate and committed cross-border team. They cited Kim & Chang’s accomplishments particularly in gender-inclusion as a stand out among their peers in the North Asia region.
Clifford Chance, Davis Polk and Allen & Overy were also highly commended for their diversity and inclusion work over the last twelve months.
