London/Dubai, June 7, 2010 – Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) Private Wealth Management (PWM) announced today the appointment of Gabriel Aractingi as a Managing Director and Head of Sales for the Middle East reporting jointly to Ausaf Abbas, Head of Sales and Marketing, PWM EMEA and Habib Achkar, Regional Manager for the MENA Region. Based in Dubai, Mr Aractingi will lead Morgan Stanley’s private banking business in the Middle East, and will manage a team of Investment Advisers based across Dubai, London, Geneva and Riyadh.

Mr Aractingi joins Morgan Stanley from Lombard Odier, where he was Executive Vice President and Head of the Middle East. Managing a team located in Geneva, London and Dubai, he was responsible for and instrumental in developing the company’s strategy in the region. Prior to this, Mr Aractingi was Chief Executive Officer of Asset-Management.com and a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Industry Group at Ernst & Young.
