Morgan Stanley Smith Barney today announced that in partnership with The Women’s Foundation of California, it has launched the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney customized edition of It’s A Money Thing! A Girl’s Guide to Managing Money.

With illustrations by Susan Estelle Kwas and published by Chronicle Books, It’s A Money Thing! is designed to be a fun and educational guide for teenage girls to learn smart financial habits early on. With exercises such as “Creating a Mission Statement” and “Resources Required to Start a Business,” the book aims to equip the reader with the necessary tools to create a budget, manage credit and save and invest for the future, while also encouraging her to think about what interests her most and how she can connect her money with her skills and goals.
