Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Corporate Equity Solutions Business Makes Donation to Feeding America Providing for 90,000 Meals

Jan 8, 2015

New York —

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Corporate Equity Solutions business today announced a $10,000 donation to Feeding America.  A check presentation was made at the recent National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) annual conference in Las Vegas.  The funds will help provide as many as 90,000 meals to Americans struggling with hunger.

This donation is part of a nationwide partnership between Morgan Stanley and Feeding America, which seeks to provide 10 million healthy meals and 50 million servings of fresh produce to children across the country.

“More than 49 million Americans, including 16 million children, live at risk of hunger.  Since 2009, Morgan Stanley has partnered with Feeding America to directly deliver healthy meals to young children,” said Chris Randazzo, Chief Information Officer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Investment Management and Head of Corporate Equity Solutions.  “I am honored to contribute on behalf of our business to such an outstanding organization.”

The NASPP conference is the largest annual gathering of U.S. stock plan professionals.  Last year, Morgan Stanley’s partnership with Feeding America garnered the attention of Jesse Brill, the Chairman of the NASPP, who shares and embraces the social responsibility to eliminate food waste and feed millions.  During his opening remarks at the 2013 conference, and in subsequent communication with NASPP’s 6000 members, Mr. Brill proposed to personally donate to Feeding America on behalf of every company who implemented their own program.  Morgan Stanley continued to spread awareness of the cause throughout this year’s NASPP conference, engaging its many corporate clients and business partners at the event to meet the donation goal.

“We are so grateful,” said Matthew Muldoon, Chief Development Officer of Three Square Food Bank − Feeding America’s local food bank in Las Vegas − who accepted Morgan Stanley’s donation at the conference.  “We sincerely thank Morgan Stanley for joining with our network of 200 food banks and more than 60,000 local food agencies to reduce food insecurity across the country.”
