Background

Prateek Bhurat is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley. Mr. Bhurat joined the group in 2014 and focuses on the group's private equity transactions in India. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Bhurat worked for two years at Avendus Capital's investment banking division, where he was responsible for M&A and equity capital markets transactions. Mr. Bhurat is a native of India and is based in Mumbai. Mr. Bhurat received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and holds an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
