TRanscript

Morgan Stanley opened its first office in Budapest in 2006 but has partnered with Hungarian institutional organizations since 1993. Today our Hungary office has a unique, innovative culture and a community of experts that add to our worldwide expertise.

In April 2006, we established the Mathematical Modelling Centre in Budapest to support the firm’s global fixed income trading business. In July 2006 based on Hungary’s excellent higher education and the good quality professional local talent, the firm furthered its presence in the region by opening the Business Services and Technology Centre in Budapest to support the business activities in North America, Europe and Asia.

The office is located on the Danube in the state-of-the-art Millennium City Centre.  Our more than 2,300 employees provide essential support across a variety of services including Finance, Technology, Quant Solutions, Firm Risk Management, Business Control Unit, Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance, Inclusive Ventures Lab, Firmwide Marketing, Commercial Contract Management, and Global Sustainable Finance.

We’re building a community that can help deliver the finest financial thinking, products and performance in the world. Here in our Hungary office our people come from diverse backgrounds but everyone is an exceptional high achiever who shares a passion for great work, intellectual curiosity and integrity. Our ability to do great work and exchange knowledge is facilitated by the relationships we build with colleagues across our diverse, global network. If you’re ready to join a friendly, supportive team that’s changing the world—this is where to do it.

At Morgan Stanley, we'll give you opportunities you won’t get anywhere else. True collaboration and partnership allow us to bring together diverse perspective and turn them into a defining strength, unlocking growth opportunities for each other.

A Commitment to Our Community

At Morgan Stanley Hungary, we're dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities where we live and work.

We aren’t afraid to roll up our sleeves and create positive change in the world—in fact, it’s what we do best.

We invest in children’s health initiatives, support education, diversity, and cultural programs that help to make the world a better place. We encourage our employees to give back to their communities through Firm-sponsored volunteer projects. For us, giving back isn't just writing a check, it's about making a difference.

In Budapest, this includes participating in the Firm's annual Global Volunteer Month. In June 2024 more than 2300 employees from the Budapest office (over 90% of total employees) dedicated more than 16,000 working hours to volunteer at more than 250 different events.

Morgan Stanley Hungary creates real change in the world. We put clients first and lead with exceptional ideas. We do the right thing and give back— and this starts with our employees.

We focus on enhancing our employees’ careers by offering a wide variety of educational and professional development programs including classroom, online and one-to-one training sessions. But most instruction comes on the job, under the mentorship of experienced, top-tier professionals. You’ll be learning from people who are the best in the world at what they do.

Here at Morgan Stanley Hungary, training isn’t limited to your first weeks on the job. It continues throughout your Morgan Stanley career. There are numerous programs that empower you, develop your skills and set you up for success in this continually evolving business.

We think work should be interesting, enjoyable, socially beneficial, and financially rewarding. Accordingly, we offer an attractive range of incentives and benefits to employees, ranging from competitive compensation packages to flexible lifestyle benefits like diverse employee networks and social nights that celebrate our community.

In Budapest, we're making a difference in the world and having an excellent time doing it.
